About the Project
For the third time, CCNN participated in the Velocity Conference 2025 in Ghent, Belgium, organized by the European Cyclists’ Federation (ECF). The conference brought together mobility experts, policymakers, city officials, researchers, practitioners, and advocates to advance global conversations on cycling, sustainable mobility, and climate-resilient cities.
CCNN’s Ms. Anuradha presented under the session titled “Breaking Boundaries: Empowering Women’s Mobility Through Cycling in Kathmandu,” emphasizing gender inclusion, safety, and everyday cycling as pathways to empowerment. The participation enabled knowledge exchange, network strengthening, and visibility for Nepal’s active mobility efforts within a global forum.
