About the Ride
Cycle City Network Nepal supported a unique climate awareness ride and storytelling session centered on the endangered Boje Pokhari wetland. Once a vibrant local pond, Boje Pokhari was drying due to environmental degradation and climate shifts.
Through a cycle rally and community storytelling event, participants learned about the wetland’s cultural and ecological importance. CCNN contributed to route management and social media outreach. The ride concluded with a storytelling session highlighting the deep connections between climate change, culture, and urban wetlands.
