To celebrate International Women’s Day 2022, CCNN implemented a nationwide campaign under the theme “Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow.” Through Greenway Nepal, CCNN organized app launches, bicycle handovers, and rallies in three provinces.
A total of 111 schoolgirls from low-income families and underserved communities received bicycles and committed to continuing their education and delaying early marriage. Events featured participation from mayors, local government representatives, community clubs, and security forces.
The campaign included inclusive rallies with LGBTIQ+ participants and persons with disabilities, demonstrating that cycling is for everyone.
