The Kora Cycling Challenge 2023 grew as a powerful movement of community, purpose, and pedal-powered impact. For the first time, Kora transcended borders with simultaneous rides held in 25 locations across Nepal and internationally.
A major milestone was the introduction of Kora to 4 new locations: Chitwan (near Chitwan National Park), Panauti (with local government backing), Lamjung (grassroots organized), and Bhaktapur. The Women Marshal Training supported by USAID equipped over 100 women to lead rides, increasing women’s participation from 8% in 2022 to 11% in 2023.
